Our History

The Transfer Opportunity Program (TOP) was originally designated for first-generation college students, members of historically underrepresented groups (African-American, Native-American, Chicana/o, Hispanic, and Latinx). Since 1991, TOP has been preparing its students to transfer to four-year universities through an abundance of resources, services, and tools to help them achieve their 4-year university transfer goals. Through the past 30 years, TOP has been committed to providing students with a support system that will enhance their experience at Orange Coast.
