Other Services

**OCC provides wireless networking access throughout most of the campus. We recommend using (SSID) Coast-WiFi-Student. Computing center staff can help you gain and recover access to your Student Network Account which is what you need to access the campus wireless network, as well as MyCoast, Canvas, and all other student computers on campus. You also use the Student Network Account to pay for printing and photocopying.

As an added benefit of being an OCC student, you are entitled to a free subscription to MS Office.  This software application will enable you to share and co-edit your schoolwork using Word, PowerPoint, Excel, and OneNote in real time—anywhere, any time, on any device. To use it, just log into Office.com and enter your college-issued email address (e.g. jdoe1@student.cccd.edu) and password.

Computer Center staff can assist you with downloading and installing Office on your personal computer (Mac and Windows) and mobile device (iOS and Android) to enable you to work locally or when you are disconnected from the internet.  You can install Office on as many as 5 devices. With 1 TB of OneDrive storage, you can keep all your work online for easy access.  Ask the Computing Center staff for assistance or more information.
