Honors Night | Orange Coast College

Honors Night is a long standing tradition at Orange Coast College (OCC). This year we are celebrating our 65^th year of recognizing students, staff, and faculty for their service and leadership contributions. Honors Night is also our opportunity to show our appreciation to our donors, as through their generosity we are awarding scholarships to students who have demonstrated academic excellence and have excelled in their education at OCC.

The Service & Leadership and Scholarship Award ceremonies will share the wealth with a grand celebration! Our theme is “Diamonds Are A Pirate's Best Friend” to celebrate OCC's 75th Diamond Anniversary and the community of learners and educators that leave a lasting legacy.

The Honors Night reception, courtesy of Associated Students of Orange Coast College (ASOCC), will take place from 4:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. on Wednesday, May 10, 2023 in the Quad area just in front of OCC’s Robert B. Moore Theater. At the reception you will have the opportunity to enjoy some amazing flavors prepared by OCC’s very own award-winning Culinary Arts Program.

Following the reception, invited guests will have the opportunity to enjoy our Honors Night Ceremony, which will start at 6:00 p.m.

All guests are invited to park in Parking Lot C located at the corner of Fairview Road and Merrimac Way. Parking for this event is free. There is no need to purchase a parking pass.

All guests can be dropped-off at the roundabout located directly next to the Robert B. Moore Theater. In order to access the roundabout, please enter into Parking Lot C from Arlington Drive off of Fairview Road.

Transportation service will be provided on the evening of the event between the hours of 4:00 p.m. – 5:45 p.m. and 8:00 p.m. – 8:45 p.m. There will be tents located in Parking Lot C and on the Westside of the Robert B. Moore Theater where these services can be accessed.
